Epilogy receives Inserm accreditation

The Epilogy – Epidemiology and Evaluation of Therapeutics in Dermatology and Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases group, based at the Faculty of Health of Henri-Mondor University Hospital in Créteil, is now recognized as a major contributor to research in dermatology and immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. Formerly known as EpiDermE, the group has progressively developed an ambitious scientific program focused on clinical epidemiology, the evaluation of therapeutic strategies, and the critical appraisal of scientific evidence in dermatology.

Integrated within the Mondor Institute as part of unit U955 of Inserm, Epilogy received Inserm accreditation in January, marking a key milestone in its development. This institutional recognition attests to the scientific quality of its work, the coherence of its research strategy, and its growing influence in the field of chronic dermatoses and immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.

Inserm accreditation marks a major milestone in the development of Epilogy and confirms the scientific quality of its research strategy and its growing role in dermatology and immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.

This accreditation is supported by a strongly multidisciplinary organization, bringing together dermatologists, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and methodologists around shared objectives. This diversity of expertise promotes an integrated approach to treatment evaluation, identification of adverse events, and the improvement of methodologies in clinical research and evidence synthesis.

Epilogy is also distinguished by its cohesion and dynamism, reflected in strong collective involvement in scientific projects and the development of new collaborations. The integration of numerous PhD candidates and early-career researchers constitutes a key component of its structure, strengthening scientific output while contributing to the training of a new generation of specialists in dermatology and clinical epidemiology.

Operating within a recognized hospital-university environment in Créteil, Epilogy benefits from an ecosystem conducive to high-impact collaborative projects. Inserm accreditation confirms its role in advancing knowledge in dermatology and in evaluating therapeutic strategies for patients with immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
